The purpose of SOFT2go is to alleviate the following challenges, among others. Maybe they sound familiar to you?

We are often times behind on the most recent updates. There are constantly new security updates, but there is no time to update the basic software.

We have to package our own company-specific software. It is time-consuming and many forget to have the standard portions implemented.

The number of tasks has increased after the Local Admin role was removed.  For safety reasons, the Local Administrator role has been removed from the user, but that means that there are now many instances where the users need help with various tasks.

We are in need of tools to make scripting for packaging quick and efficient. Scripting for packaging is a wide area where an easily manageable function library is needed.

We are installing applications manually. Bringing applications into SCCM can be tricky and therefore, sometimes the applications are installed manually which then creates the risk that the update will now in turn be tricky.

SOFT2go consists of

The SOFT2go portal, in which you can download 100 different updated applications that have been packaged for installation through every deployment system and which can launch it as an .exe file.

Package Engineer, which will cut the time it takes to build software packages in half and which comes with templates you can use for your regular high-quality standards. You can also create your own templates. The packaging tool is independent of the deployment system.

SCCM Import Tool, which will optimize the task of importing packages into SCCM through the use of templates.

Local Admin Service, which gives the users the opportunity to have local administrator rights in a controlled setting.

You can also order complete software packages custom made to your needs all done on beneficial terms in that it is a package deal: one software punch card at the cost of 2,350.00 DKK per package.
